Blucca corrects material factual errors openly. This page explains what qualifies, how we handle corrections and how to report a concern.
Our Commitment
Accuracy is fundamental to the trust readers place in Blucca. When we confirm that published content contains a material error, we correct it and, where appropriate, record the correction so readers can see what changed.
What Counts as a Material Error
- Incorrect figures, dates or units
- Wrong regulatory status, licence or jurisdiction
- Misidentified companies, brands or individuals
- Misattributed statements or quotations
- Outdated information presented as current
- Any fact whose correction would materially change a reader’s understanding
How We Handle Corrections
- Receipt. We review the report and the evidence provided.
- Assessment. We compare the statement against primary or authoritative sources.
- Correction. Where an error is confirmed, the content is corrected promptly.
- Record. Significant corrections are noted on the affected content, and the article history is preserved where the platform supports it.
Minor Updates
Typographical errors, formatting fixes and minor wording improvements that do not change meaning may be made without a formal notice.
Clarifications and Updates
A correction fixes an error. An update reflects new developments after publication. We aim to keep the two distinct so readers can tell whether the original reporting was wrong or circumstances changed.
